a return to self, nature,
and community

September 2 - 4  |  Newmarket, NH

If you’re looking for a retreat full of vague spiritualism and toxic positivity, this ain’t it.

We’re here for the real-real.

This retreat isn’t just going to be IG-worthy standing bow yoga poses and walking around with our hands on our hearts like nothing in the world is wrong or hard or painful.

This isn’t for people who want to become enlightened spiritual beings.

This is a retreat for humans who want to enjoy being a human more.

So at this retreat, you’ll practice reconnecting to yourself.

Not sure what that means? I’m talking about reconnecting to the you-est version of you.

Like…before you heard that it was even possible for any part of you to be wrong, or uncool, or needing to improve.

The you before junior high peer pressure.

The you before you heard that you should want to “be” something when you grow up.

The you before pain so big that it changed everything.

The you that knows your purpose is wayyyy fucking bigger than clocking in for 40 hours a week and then scrolling though TikTok because you’re too tired to do anything else.

And ya know what happens when you reconnect to yourself?

There’s space to reconnect to inspiration, creativity, nature, motivation, joy, playfulness, and with other people.

Reconnect to yourself so that you can reconnect to everything else life has for you.

Okay and now for some prettier words…

This retreat is designed to nurture all parts of you:

  • We nurture your heart by gathering together and sharing our words and the feelings that exist beyond language.

  • We nurture your body by grounding with movement that does not push, and through foods lovingly designed to balance your chakra centers.

  • We nurture your mind by honoring her power and inviting her to play with inspiration and dreams.

  • We nurture your nervous system by letting her whispers set the pace and offering her the patience she is so often denied.

  • We nurture your spirit by allowing only co-creation, honoring that divine wisdom exists equally and fluidly within each of us.

5 transformational group sessions to connect you more deeply to yourself, to your inner wisdom, and to the healing power of community

Although this retreat is not exclusively affiliated with Buddhist teachings, both of us have warm memories of meditating and enjoying retreat at Aryaloka. We are honored to host here at this sacred center, and enjoy the beautiful gathering spaces, libraries, and walking paths together.

Ala is a yoga therapist, Reiki Master, and nature-inspired chef.

Ala focuses on accessibility and trauma-informed yoga practices. In combination with yoga, she loves sharing the history and wisdom of Reiki, and offers attunements and energy balancing sessions.

Her love of food is an integral part of her spiritual practice. Her philosophy in cooking and in life is that everything is better when closely aligned to nature’s cycles. Whether it’s the changing of the seasons or the phases of moon, she use these cycles, anti-diet culture, and Ayurvedic philosophy to inspire her menus.

"I feel certain that Hannah is doing the work that she was born to do, and I am forever grateful. She has such a precious and unique gift, and I am so grateful that she is sharing it with the world. Her gentle yet strong energy guides me to my own answers, and asks the questions that unlock deeper exploration, self-compassion, and nurturing of the tender spots that are hard to look at alone."

"Hannah has an ability to create structure in a warm and open and solid way, her tone of voice and energy as a space holder created a calming and reassuring atmosphere. I felt safe and held and also pushed to see and accept the deeper truths and how to embrace these and dance within them."

"Hannah has the most calm and soothing way of guiding you to your brightest potential. Her guided meditations makes you feel like her voice is holding you and carrying you home."
